The Power of Video

I was recently working on a research highlight reel for a client whom we’ve never created a video for before. I was struck by how excited they were, even for just a short simple reel. It reminded me of our first blog post in 2022 about the power of video storytelling.

Still to this day, video continues to be an important part of what we do here at Clearworks. Hearing and seeing a story brings energy, sparks empathy and makes concepts and themes easier to digest.

Earlier this year, I had fun creating a fast-paced, engaging video for a client to support a meeting of senior executives and their cross-functional teams. They wanted the team to hear real voices of real customers. For this particular project, I only had audio to work with, as we needed to maintain the anonymity of the research participants. Even so, the client told us afterwards that it felt as though the video brought amazing energy to the room. I was pleased that the power of the customer voices came through, and I remain amazed by the ability of video to shift moods and perspectives.

I thought I would share one last project I thoroughly enjoyed creating recently, which was a Get to Know Clearworks video. I enjoyed writing about my team and honing my motion graphics skills to demonstrate the friendliness and enthusiasm you can expect when you work with us.

Thanks for tuning in to read my reflections on some of our fun video projects from this past year! It’s nice to be reminded of just how useful and exciting video storytelling can be.

Feel free to take a look at our initial blog post about the power of video storytelling and how it might be beneficial for your team in the coming year!
