Meet the Team

Noël founded Clearworks to leverage her passion for using customer insights to drive business decisions. She believes in the power of the customer as the single source of truth to build products, services and experiences that matter, in any industry.  As President of Clearworks, Noël inspires the Clearworks team and clients to look at challenges in fresh ways, use new approaches and ask the right questions in the right way. She also enjoys getting close to customers and rolling up her sleeves on insights, innovation and experience projects of all sizes and shapes. Noël loves everything outdoors whether it’s running trails, cycling roads, or chasing her dog, Finley, on the beach.

Sarah brings years of experience in marketing strategy, customer experience, research & analytics from her previous roles across agency, retail, health care and nonprofit settings. She enjoys talking to customers to help companies create better products and using insights & innovation to solve complex business challenges.

A born leader, Sarah is always eager to take on a new project or dive in to develop a new process or program.

On the weekend, you might find her enjoying an outdoor concert, trying a new local restaurant, or exploring Florida with her family.

Jennifer brings many years of experience to Clearworks as a strategy consultant, product marketer, product developer and marketing strategist in industries ranging from retail to oil and gas. She leverages that background to get up to speed quickly on new industries and help Clearworks clients solve a variety of business challenges. She applies her curiosity and love of spreadsheets to dig deep into a wide range of products ranging from toilet paper to security software. On weekends, Jenn might be found cheering for her kids’ sports teams or trying to not be found at her favorite day spa.

Sara brings deep consumer insights expertise honed across tech, financial services, CPG, and specialty retail. She has a passion for translating data into product innovation and marketing strategy. Sara is stoked to bring segmentations to life, to develop brand strategy and positioning, and to uncover new product opportunities. She has extensive international experience on both client and supplier sides.

When she’s not working, Sara makes the most of the HI life; you’ll most likely find her surfing the south shore of O’ahu, hiking, biking, or running.

Over the course of her career, Tory has completed a multitude of cutting-edge domestic and international strategy and research projects including several pieces for Cirque du Soleil and Google. She has a robust background working across audiences, industries and topics, from CPG, Gaming, Tech, DE&I, F&B, Health &Beauty, and Entertainment. Her experience spans methodologies and all things qualitative; she particularly enjoys leveraging unobtrusive and unassuming immersive ethnography approaches.

Tory has a dynamic past as a cross country tour guide; t-shirt business founder, entrepreneurial consultant at Syracuse University, as well as international work with a grocery chain in South Africa and Plaboo Village (nonprofit in rural Thailand).

Her passion points include travel, snowboarding, motorcycles and experiencing the world with authentic engagements. From skydiving to bungee jumping, she’s all in, all the time.

Emily is a recent film studies graduate who is passionate about using the powerful tool of video to engender empathy and positive change. She enjoys using her video production and nonlinear editing skills to help bridge the gap between companies and their customers.

Emily has a knack for taking research results and portraying them in the most logical, easily digestible way. If she could, she would spend all of her free time playing guitar or curling up with a cup of coffee and a good book.

Chuck has many years of experience in product management, product marketing, new product development and user-interface design roles for companies of all sizes. He leverages his experience, curiosity, and design sensibilities in creating engaging customer experiences for Clearworks clients. Chuck is passionate about the role of human-centered research and design in transforming ideas into products, services and experiences that move beyond utility to inspire possibility. His off hours are spent hiking in the mountains, creating themed playlists, or staring down a pile of LEGOs.

David is a recovering architect turned visual story-teller that brings his background in design thinking to the world of customer research, experience and innovation. He brings an uncanny ability to take to complex conversations and create engaging visual notes that bring clarity to what was once confusing.

David loves crafting engaging infographics, journey maps, storyboards, and prototypes, all in the spirit of improving the way companies can better understand their customers’ needs and wants. When weather permits (i.e. it’s not winter in Chicago), you can find David with his hands in the dirt, tending to his urban parkways and gardens which are the talk of the neighborhood.

Karie came to Clearworks with deep experience in product management, strategy, customer insights, and market intelligence for companies of all sizes. She brings to every Clearworks client her passion for listening to customers, helping companies grow and innovate, and improving customer experiences. Karie loves learning about new industries and client challenges, whether it’s new innovations in toilet tissue or positioning large enterprise software solutions Not your ordinary soccer mom, Karie has lived in fascinating places around the globe and speaks wine fluently.

Finley is a morale and engagement expert with nearly 14 dog years of experience. During the week, he can be found in the office with his favorite chew toy. On the weekends, Finley loves a good adventure! Two of his favorites are hiking in the Presidio with Noël and going for a swim in the Pacific Ocean.
