Promoting Innovation
We work with companies to generate new ideas and build a culture of innovation through our innovation work. Art and science are two components that are critical to inspiring new ideas and fueling innovation. We support the following organizations to help promote an environment and a world where innovation can thrive:
Maybe our work has heightened our empathy for people. Or maybe our empathy for people led us to this work. Either way, it’s no surprise we’re drawn to organizations that help make people’s lives better. Here are a few that our team is proud to support in the communities in which we live and work through volunteering and financial support:
In our own words:
As a mom of two girls, sports — and soccer in our case — are critical to helping them stay busy and fit, building confidence and discipline, learning to be part of a team, and working hard to be the best that you can be. I believe it is an integral part of their development into young adults and as so, we support many organizations that work to give girls opportunities to advance and grow through soccer. Having lived in Africa for part of my life and seeing kids play soccer without any equipment except a ball, as a family we support the Passback program that collects used equipment, jerseys, balls, cleats, etc… and provides them to children in need so that they can have equal opportunities to enjoy the sport we love!

Rethreaded is a non-profit that is near and dear to my heart. I have been volunteering with the organization since 2013. It is a social entrepreneurship that is breaking the cycle of the sex trade by offering viable and creative work to those affected by the sex trade. The women employed at Rethreaded make products using upcycled t-shirts that are then sold to provide support to the non-profit and ultimately help even more women. I have volunteered doing everything from working the checkout at events, putting together silent auctions, to helping develop their product lines. It has been quite a rewarding experience!

As the troop leader to 14 Girl Scouts, it is so much fun to see the girls grow and learn new things, and gain more and more confidence in everything they do.

I love being on the board and supporting HandsOn. The organization is so critical in building volunteerism and executing on much needed community projects. It feels good to part of such a visible impact to our community.
